River Science Forum – 25th February 2026

The Committee of the RLCAG is pleased to announce the annual
River Science Forum will take place on Ngarrindjeri Country on
Wednesday 25 February 2026 from 5:30 pm at the
Clayton Bay Community Hall.

Acknowledging & celebrating World Wetlands Day

Guest speakers (from 6:30pm) are:

Dr Emma Carmody, newly appointed South Australian Commissioner for the River Murray – presenting on Ramsar matters.

Jarrod Eaton, Assistant Director, Water Quality and Salinity, MDBA – addressing water quality issues and the Basin Plan Review.

Sam Blight, Sustainability Officer, Coorong District Council – discussing revegetation initiatives around the Lakes.

Mark Koolmatrie – speaking on the significance of freshwater soaks to First Nations peoples.
